Nurse Ginger Lee Vickers Dies at 81, Remembered for Caring Nature

Ginger Lee Vickers, 81, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away on her birthday, October 28, 2024, at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY. Vickers, a graduate of Newport High School and Northern Kentucky University School of Nursing, worked as a nurse at Mt. Washington Care Center. She was known for her caring and loving personality and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Vickers is survived by her daughters, sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation and services will be held at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home in Newport, with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
