Newport Independent School District Education: 1,756 students were enrolled in 2023-24 school year

There were 1,756 students enrolled in Newport Independent School District in the 2023-24 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Kentucky Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 52.2% of them were boys, and 47.8% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Newport Independent School District students was white, accounting for 46.6% of the student population.

Newport Independent School District roughly covers five schools within Campbell County and has a main office in Newport.

Among those schools, Newport High School recorded the highest enrollment of 641 students in the 2023-24 school year.
