Newport’s Veteran’s Memorial Pool has announced its operational schedule and pricing for the upcoming 2025 summer season. The pool, located at 26 Caroline Ave. in Newport, KY, will be open from May 24 until August 10.
Operating hours are set as noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays; noon to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays; and noon to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays will host Penguin Swim Lessons, with opening times at 12:15 or 12:30 p.m., running until 6:00 p.m. Saturdays will also accommodate these lessons, opening at the same adjusted times and closing at 8:00 p.m.
From July 27 to August 10, the pool will operate noon to 6:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and noon to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Pool hours may be shortened due to pool parties or swim and dive competitions.
Admission rates for 2025 are as follows: children aged four and under, seniors aged 65 and over with ID, and military personnel with ID can enter for free. Children aged 5 to 11 are charged $3.00, while those aged 12 and over are charged $5.00.
Various passes are available: a single pass for $60.00, a family pass covering up to five household members for $175.00 (additional members $25.00 each), and an institutional pass including one adult and ten children for $350.00.
Pool parties can accommodate up to 75 people for $275.00, with a $200 deposit and proof of residency required. Parties must be scheduled in advance and deposits are refundable if there are no police calls or damages. Private parties are available on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m., and Sundays through Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. To schedule, interested parties should contact 859-292-3686.
