Mary Lizzie Ward Mourned in Newport

Newport, KY - Mary Lizzie Ward (nee. Barrett), 91, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Pavilion at Kenton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee & Effie Barrett, husband, Edward Ward, and brothers, Lewis & Ernest Barrett. Mary is survived by her children: Robert (Robin) Turner, Brenda Campbell, Vickie (Dave) Haddix, and Tracey Dant; 14 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Alexandria Funeral Home, 325 Washington St., Alexandria, KY on Tuesday, June 17th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 PM. Mary will be laid to rest at Alexandria Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter at 720 E Pete Rose Way, Suite 330 Cincinnati, OH 45202.
